I’m a journalist and photojournalist based in Boston, Massachusetts attending Emerson College. My writing has been featured in publications like The Berkeley Beacon and ENSPIRE Magazine
I am passionate about healthcare, free speech, and human rights. I reinforced my zest for journalism when I created my own website called The Global Post. There, I dedicated myself to reporting on the causes such as Zionism, gun control, and climate change . During my time at ENSPIRE Magazine and the Berkeley Beacon, I learned about interviewing, networking, news judgement, editing, marketing, researching, collaboration, photojournalism, and so much more.
In college, my passion for journalism has been fueled by the ongoing fight to combat censorship on my campus. This experience is significant to my journey because it marked a pivotal shift in my goals as a journalist: to reinforce the pursuit of truth as the pinnacle of journalistic values. My goal as an integrous journalist is to distribute truth widely and accessibly.
A journalist can play many roles, such as a reporter, researcher, writer, and, most importantly, a teacher. The media can combat or perpetrate the spread of dangerous misinformation, and as a journalist, I do everything I can to oppose deception with truth.
